Skimmer Boxes serve a number of functions, including helping to meter the amount of water entering your filter system and protecting your aquarium from completely draining in the event of a power outage. In addition, they are compatible with a number of different filtration systems including wet/dry trickle filters, and single or multistage canister systems. Includes an installation kit and a roll of DLS filter material which will trap waste before it enters the filter system. Also includes a full hood with fluorescent fixture (bulbs sold separately).
