The Aurora Shrimpgoby is white with hazy, orange-brown bars. Its tail has yellow and red markings and is pointed. A small red band marks the cheek. These gobies are fine with other small fish and invertebrates. Gobies need a sandy substrate to build burrows, and care should be taken so that they do not bury sessile invertebrates with their digging activities. They are easy to feed and will eat most frozen and dried foods in addition to scavenging for food on the bottom.
