Female Purple Queen Anthias are bright purple with a yellow-orange stripe that runs from the tip of the snout to the tip of the tail. The bottom edge of the tail is also yellow-orange. These fish tend to do best in harems of one male to several females, and are most comfortable in a well-established reef.
