The Redtail Leopardus Pleco is a colorful, interesting and uncommon pleco to find in the aquarium trade. They are scavengers and will feed on leftover and sinking foods in the aquarium. These plecos also benefit from driftwood to rasp on and feed off of. They do best in soft, slightly acidic water that replicates the "black water" environment they are native to. These plecos have a light golden body with a dark marbled pattern.
