The Black Snapper is an unusual and very large fish for the home aquarium. Juvenile Black Snappers are black and white with long fins while adults are very different with a dark, blotchy, silver coloration. These fish will eat small tankmates like fish and shrimp, and they need a very large, well-filtered aquarium. Provide them with lots of rock and a varied meaty diet.
