The Goldsaddle, or Yellow Goatfish is named because of its bright yellow body, one of several color phases this species may exhibit. Like all goatfish, it possesses 2 barbels which it uses to sift small crustaceans out of the sand bed. They will also accept meaty foods like plankton and clam. These fish are good sandsifters and have alot of personality.
