The Bristletail Filefish is collected in the Indo-west Pacific region of the Pacific Ocean. They inhabit seagrass beds in protected lagoons, blending with the grasses to avoid predators. These filefish grow to about 4 inches in length. They feed on algaes and the tiny invertebrates found in and around the algae beds, but meaty or omnivore formula frozen foods will be a suitable diet. These fish are not considered reef safe and would be best suited for well decorated fish only aquariums or biotopes. This fish is also known to eat the troublesome Aiptasia anemones (also known as Glass Anemones), but they have also been known to pick at and eat other polyps. They may eat desireable ornatmental polyp colonies as well as the polyps on stony corals.

These beautiful cichlids are referred to as the king of the Featherfins due to their intense coloration and elaborate finnage. Breeding males become neon blue-green with a golden head and black speckling in the fins. Females are silver. Furcifer is a large Tanganyikan, males reaching 8-9 inches. They require a minimum tank size of 100 gallons with ample filtration to keep the aquarium pristine. Males construct large crater-nests to attract a female, and an elaborate mating session may follow. These fish will need fine sand and plenty of open area to construct the nest. Males will defend territory aggressively, so unless the tank is huge, only one or two should be kept in the minimum tank with several females. Clown gobies are small fish that come in a variety of colors and patterns, usually with a blunt, rounded stout. The Green Clown Goby in particular has a green body with reddish vertical stripes on its head. They are peaceful toward other fish but will not tolerate other clown gobies. Clown gobies are ideal for reef aquariums, but can also be kept in peaceful community aquariums, as long as they have plenty of hiding places.
