Halichoeres ornatissimus “Ornate Wrasse” – Small
The Ornate Wrasse is decorated with brightly colored red and green markings. This fish is sometimes referred to as a Christmas Wrasse in the aquarium trade. Wrasses are generally hardy and easy to care for. They prefer a tank with plenty of rock work to hide in and a sandy substrate. They should get along with other tankmates, but can be aggressive toward other wrasses. They are invert-safe for the most part, though if a crustacean is small enough, they may eat them. They should accept frozen foods, and maybe eventually flake/pellet food.
